The topping out of this Private Finance Initiative Acute Hospital Accommodation Unit represented the start of the Final Phase of the Development which started with the original Invitation to Tender three years previous.
The extension to the existing Hospital comprises of over 24,000m2 of Accommodation Space including Theatres, Radiology, Intensive Care and General Ward Space. Extensive Outpatient Facilities will also be provided serving the Cardiothoracic and Neuroscience’s Departments.
Hulley and Kirkwood have supported MJ Gleeson through the Bid Process providing Design and Technical Support. This has culminated in the appointment of SES Ltd to provide the Mechanical and Electrical Services element of the Works.
Broadway Malyan Healthcare have provided the Healthcare planning and expertise on the architecture, including the generation and planning of 1000 Room Data Sheets.
