Cardonald College is a key player in the delivery of further education in the West of Scotland. Completed in the 1960’s, the 11 storey main building is in an ever-evolving renewal programme. HulleySFM have been involved with the College’s Property and Facilities Management since 1999 and provided a number of consultancy services including;
- Renewal of Switchgear
- High Speed Passenger Lift Modernisation
- Upgrade of CCTV Systems
- Security Image relay from remote Campuses
- Disabled Evacuation Lifts
- Calorifier Reduction and Replacement
- Ongoing Planned Replacement of Mechanical Services
In 2003, HulleySFM proposed consolidation and re-tendering of mechanical building services planned preventative maintenance services. This exercise has simplified call out procedures to a single help desk, ensured consistent service standards and contract conditions, whilst saving a considerable sum on maintenance works. The tender documents, including asset registers and service level agreements as devised by HulleySFM are retained by the College for simple re-tendering as a single package in the future
