Hulley & Kirkwood provided Due Diligence Services for the refurbishment and part New Build of Wharfedale General Hospital on behalf of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Otley, Yorkshire. New facilities included:

· Medical Wards
· Occupational Therapy
· Radiology General Room
· Endoscopy
· Speech Therapy
· Ultrasound
· Day Surgery Unit
· Audiology
· Mammography
· Elderly Day Hospital
· Minor Injuries Unit
· Pathology
Works commenced in September 2002 with a projected duration of 106 weeks. Unfortunately, due to an arson attack in June 2003, which caused extensive damage to the south flank of the building, works completion was delayed by 15 weeks. Despite this setback, the main hospital building was completed on 11 October 2005, with Sectional Commissioning Completion achieved December 2005.
