Situated within the University of Strathclyde’s listed Royal College Building is the Pharmaceutical Clean Room Facility.  This provides cytotoxic and non-cytotoxic Clean Room Suite comprising an area of approximately 180m² and was constructed within rooms on the South East Corner at sixth floor level.

The Design and Build Contract initially involved Hulley & Kirkwood providing design advice/comment on proposals, but developed into provision of design for Client’s Process Cooling Applications (freeze dryers, etc.), design guidance on plant and process steam, air conditioning/ventilation plant and assisting with the Project Management/ Programming of the Installation.
