Project Title: Tiffin School

Project Value: £1.9m

Hulley contact: Gordon McInnes

Tiffin Boys’ School opened in January 1880 and moved to its present site near the centre of Kingston in 1929. In 1993 the School became a Grammar School and in September 2003 it also became a specialist Performing Arts College.  The Dempsey Centre opened in the Summer of 2004. This new facility links the south building to the main building and comprises a large downstairs Library, with a fully computerised classroom above. Adjacent to this is a flexible Lecture Theatre/classroom/ performance space with full audio visual equipment which can be routed in either 60 person or two 20 person seminar spaces. The audio visual system is configured to operate in either configuration and offers external users access to outstanding facilities.
Hulleys worked closely with the design team to deliver a high quality educational establishment which will attract use from the local community.
