Provision of two new Special Needs Schools and Sports Centre for the City of Edinburgh Council. Consultation had been carried out with parents and other parties to relocate a new secondary school for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) to replace Canonmills and Cairnpark Schools. It was proposed to build the school on the Gorgie Road site currently occupied by Willowpark and St Nicholas Schools.
