This Project involves the refurbishment and extension of Dunbar Grammar, Knox Academy, Musselburgh Grammar, North Berwick High, Preston Lodge High and Ross High Secondary Schools in the East Lothian Area of Scotland under a Private Public Partnership.
Also included within the Project is the provision of a New Build Competition Swimming Pool at Prestonpans and a Community Learning Centre in Musselburgh.
The schools are due for completion by Summer 2005 and t he new build Community Learning Centre and swimming pool are due to be completed by August and October 2004 respectively providing welcome new facilities for the county.
The project is designed to raise educational attainment and meet the educational needs of pupils on the current school rolls as well as meet the demands of an increasing school population in the future.
