The Lighthouse recently won the 'Enhanced Patient Experience' at the 2008 LIFT Awards in London. This development is part of the Southern Derbyshire LiftCo and was completed in February 2006.
The Lighthouse provides a range of facilities for children with disabilities, impairments and behaviourial problems, both day-care and short residential breaks to give parents a deserved rest. Facilities include a soft-play area, sensory rooms, IT equipment and outdoor rooms.
