Born in 1955, Simmy studied Environmental Engineering at Strathclyde University. Simmy joined H&K in 1983 and was appointed Partner in 1990, followed by Director in 1991.
Simmy has over the years had a strong influence on the IT strategy that has been developed throughout H&K and as well as having outline design responsibilities, Simmy is the firm's Managing Director. He chairs the firm's Management Group who along with the Board help to steer the Business on all strategic issues Company wide.
