Quartermile is an exciting vision to redevelop the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Laurieston Place into a successful community over an eight year period. This Project will bring employment and investment opportunities to the area, including;

  • 700 new homes, including over 100 affordable housing units.
  • Residential accommodation for over 1,450 people
  • Opportunity for up to 4,000 jobs, primarily in financial, legal and professional services
  • Pedestrian quarter, high quality landscaped areas taking the Meadows into the city
  • A mixture of quality retail, restaurant and cafes, within a range of open and covered spaces
  • Traffic initiatives from car clubs to co-ordinated schemes with local transport companies
  • Underground car parking for residents and office workers.
