Project SLAM, which involves thousands of MoD housing units across the UK, scooped the prestigious LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Supreme Award. SLAM - short for Single Living Accommodation Modernisation, is a £1.6bn project phased over a 10 year period. The project is presently underway with the MoD and Defence Estates for the provision of modern living accommodation for single soldiers, sailors and airmen throughout the MoD Estates in the UK.
