University of Glasgow - Wolfson Institute - Six Awards (2003)

The University of Glasgow’s Wolfson Institute has won an amazing six awards for its design including; The Scottish Design Award for Best Public Building 2003, RIBA Award, IIE Lighting Award, Civic Trust Award, BIA Award and also the Dynamic Places Award 2003.

Both intensely practical and a stunning landmark for the West End of Glasgow, the building was developed through close consultation with the building’s users and consists of three articulated blocks housing teaching and learning facilities, arranged around a triangular atrium conceived as the social heart of the school.
